The display at the Sedona Public Library is sponsored by the Oak Creek Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
We are acknowledging the women and men who served and died in wars of the United States.
Every member of the NSDAR must prove linage to a soldier or patriot who served in the American Revolutionary War 1776-1783.
The mission of the National Society Daughter of the American Revolution is to promote historic preservation, education and patriotism.
NSDAR is one of the oldest organization for women only, 200,000 is the current membership and own a large block of real estate in Washington DC,
Founded in 1890, incorporated 1896 by an Act of Congress.
The Oak Creek Chapter welcomes everyone on the second Monday of the month from September thru May.
