Spring Equinox Releasing Fire Ceremony In-Person
Spring is the season to begin anew.
I believe that we can all relate to how easy it is to accumulate stuff in our homes, cars, and desks. What we may forget is that we also accumulate emotions. Thoughts and feelings that enter our minds and our bodies can weigh us down if we don’t take the time to mentally “de-clutter”. A Releasing ceremony is the perfect way to let go of things that no longer serve us.
The Process is simple.
Write down what you no longer want to hold on to. You can start by bringing to mind what it is you need to release. Let the feelings come to you. Then, on a piece of paper, write down your release. Letting go begins the moment you put pen to paper. It is your conscious awareness that begins the activation of the release of problems, thoughts, and things from your life. Describe the events as much or as little as you want. It can be as simple as a name or a word, or more in-depth. Let your heart open to the flow as it releases old wounds, negativity, or unhealthy thought patters. What you write is for your eyes only.
· We will gather as a group on the Commons by the Friends of the Library Firecircle
· Write down the things we wish to let go of.
· Write down why we are grateful for what we are releasing; what goodness or lessons it brought into our life
· Offer it to the fire with pure intention to release it
· A moment of silence to listen for any internal guidance.
· Congratulate ourselves for taking this time for healing and transformation.
· Celebrate our sense of freedom by doing something we love as we move into the new season with a lighter heart!
· Talk with others (if you feel like it) about what you are most looking forward to for the spring season of 2025.
Coffee, tea and hot chocolate, pens and paper will be provided.
