Jewish Women's Resilence and Survival in the Holocaust In-Person
Join us for Jewish Women’s Resilience, Resistance, and Survival in the Holocaust by renowned scholar Björn Krondorfer. Delve into the extraordinary stories of two Jewish women survivors, Jane Lipski and Doris Martin, who navigated the horrors of the Holocaust with resilience and resourcefulness. Jane's escape from the ghetto led her to join the resistance in Slovakia, while Doris endured Auschwitz and labor at a women’s camp. Gain insight into the complex history of the Holocaust through these compelling narratives. This program is made possible by Arizona Humanities.
