My Father's List: How Living My Dad's Dreams Set Me Free, tells the story of author Laura Carney's six-year mission to finish 54 items from the bucket list of her late father, who was killed by a distracted driver when Carney was 25. Part grief memoir, but also a journey of self-discovery. The talk will be moderated by Kiersten Parsons Hathcock.
Laura Carney is a magazine copy editor, writer and illustrator who lives in Montclair, NJ. She copyedits for Vanity Fair, GQ, and People magazine, Kiersten Parsons Hathcock is an award-winning self-taught carpenter/furniture designer, and founder of Mod Mom Furniture, a kids’ furniture company featured on ABC’s Shark Tank, and the author of Little Voices.
